Summerset in the Sun, is located in the friendly, tight-knit community of Stoke.
Our village facilities are designed to take advantage of the fantastic Nelson climate. But, with a range of indoor facilities too, you'll always have something to do, no matter what the weather. And if you're keen to get involved, our on-site Activities Coordinator will make sure there's always a calendar of events and activities to keep you entertained. You will have access to our outdoor pool, pool table, bar, cafe, bowling green, library, communal vegetable gardens and spa.
We offer a range of living options, including villas, serviced apartments and care rooms. One of the benefits of living in a Summerset village is knowing that should your needs change, care is available in our on-site Care Centre. We offer a full range of aged-care services from in-home support through to rest home and hospital-level care (subject to availability).

The village centre is the heart of Summerset in the Sun. It is home to a range of wonderful facilities including the Divine Café, library, resident lounges and social spaces, hair and beauty salon and exercise room.
Live independently in a Summerset villa, townhouse or serviced apartment and we can provide cleaning, meals or help with whatever chores you want to outsource. And if things change, we can provide rest home level care in your serviced apartment or up to hospital-level care in our care centre (subject to availability) from our caring and dedicated team.
