Walking Football New Zealand Welcomes You

Walking Football is a unique and rapidly growing sport designed to make football accessible to a wider range of participants, particularly older adults and those with limited mobility. Unlike traditional football, Walking Football is played at a slower pace, with running strictly prohibited, no physical contact and no heading the ball. It is played on small sided fields, 5 players plus goalkeeper and up to 6 substitutes. Men and women are invited to form a team of each gender or mixed. Individuals can register and added to a team. This modification significantly reduces the risk of injury while maintaining the core elements of the game that fans and players love.
