The focal point of the community is the Club House which is an immaculately restored and extended grand Parnell mansion dating to 1907.
The plans for the Clubhouse include swimming and spa pools, gym, kitchen, bar and dining room, library, craft rooms, petanque and a bowling green. There’s a lot to do here. Of course you can be as involved in community life in the village as much or as little as you like. It’s your home, so it’s up to you.
Family and friends are always welcome to visit or to stay. They’ll love being shown the coastal walkway and cycle trails, and within a short drive there is the superb Pukekohe golfcourse, Clevedon Farmer’s Market, and Hunua Regional Park.
Living at Karaka Lifestyle Estate doesn’t mean disconnecting from the wider community. Many people who live here are closely involved with local sports and social clubs, and some are still working and running businesses.
Part of the land adjacent to the Village has been acquired by CHT Healthcare Trust with the proposal of developing an aged care facility.
There are three stages planned for Karaka Lifestyle Estate. Stage One is nearing completion and Stage Two is underway, with homes available to buy now. When the Estate is complete there will be 300 homes with options to suit everyone.
