Bupa Ballarat Care Home is located in the lovely rural township of Rangiora, a short drive from Canterbury's major city hub of Christchurch.

Located on the Western edge of Rangiora, Bupa Ballarat Care Home provides a quiet setting for residents to enjoy. Our three beautifully landscaped courtyard gardens provide ample seating areas for you and your family to enjoy. We also have several lounge areas for families to unwind in when visiting relatives at our care home - after all, we allow visitors at any time to our Bupa care homes.

Here at Bupa, we focus on the person as an individual, with their own preferences and abilities, not as someone who has to fit into the rules and routine of the home - we call this person-first care.

Bupa Ballarat offers a large variety of activities for you to enjoy including housie, crafts, gardening, quizzes, word games, and even pamper sessions. We also have entertainers who visit our residents to perform musical or dance numbers. These social activities are a real hit with our residents!

We also take residents out for short, fun day-excursions in our care home van. Our excursions can range from a visit to the local beach for fish and chips or ice cream, or perhaps visit places of interest such as museums – we’re open to your suggestions.

Want to know more? Or perhaps you'd like to check out our care home here in Rangiora. Feel free to contact our Care Home Manager, Claire on 03 313 0651 or Sarah our Community Liaison Coordinator on 027 273 2113.
