Other services
In a warm and friendly environment the Leslie Groves Ferntree Unit is a modern, purpose built facility providing 17 beds for those assessed as requiring rest home level dementia residential care (D4).
All rooms are single rooms with their own ensuites perfect for allowing the room to be personalised with momentos. There are both Standard and Premium Rooms available.
A registered nurse is available to supervise resident care 24 hours/day seven days a week.
Both individual and group activities are provided daily and planned to meet the needs of all residents. Our activities staff also offer regular events, trips, outings and visits from local entertainers.
"Home cooked" style meals and snacks are prepared on site and laundry is also serviced on site.
Our chaplain visits regularly and interdenominational services are held weekly.
We value the dignity and self worth of the people we support and encourage them to retain control of their lives as much as possible. The people we care for will be encouraged in their individuality as we cherish the richness of diversity.
