Testimonials
"Nana was one of Park Lane's first residents. As soon as we entered Park Lane we knew it was the right place for Nana. It is immaculately presented, her studio was well designed and more importantly the staff were incredible. They went that extra mile to make Nana and our family to feel so welcome and valued. We are a very close family and we all visited Park Lane weekly to spend time with Nana. Over her time there we all developed strong bonds with the staff and residents. We loved visiting and catching up with everyone's news. When Nana suddenly became sick, the staff could not have been more accommodating of our needs. They genuinely cared for us all during this difficult time, ensuring Nana received the utmost professional and personal care. Words can not describe how much this meant to us as a family and myself personally. I will never forget their kindness. Alesha and Joanne were amazing! They ensured everything was hassle free. In short, I want to thank all the staff from Park Lane for everything they did for Nana and our family. We will greatly miss seeing them all. I also want to stress to Arvida senior management how lucky you are to have such an amazing team working together at Park Lane. I congratulate you on the Arvida structures and systems in place, as those coupled with an amazing team ensure fantastic care with a personal touch." Praise from resident family member. |

Special Features
Park Lane has adopted “Cycling without Age” initiative, our bike (Rickshaw) arrived in September 2016 and has already had residents with the “wind in their hair” to the Christchurch Hospital, through Hagley Park and around the local streets – with residents waving gaily to bystanders. Residents love the freedom, smells, interaction with the environment and their local community – they feel a part of their local community. Rickshaw rides are scheduled at least three times a week with the DT (and Village volunteers) pedalling our Residents. |
