Bainswood on Victoria is committed to providing the very best of aged care in New Zealand. We have 57 beds that include a mix of rest home and hospital-style rooms with partial and full ensuite options. Single or shared rooms are available, with the possibility of connecting rooms with an ensuite in between for couples.

Walk in the door at Bainswood on Victoria and you immediately get the sense you are part of a large and supportive family. Our friendly, down-to-earth staff instantly make you feel welcome and the homely environment offers an atmosphere of security, comfort and care.

Bainswood on Victoria is centrally located on Victoria Street, an easy distance to the Rangiora town centre and surrounding shops. Flat walking access allows residents to maintain their independence while enjoying interaction with the community. Residents’ rooms look out to a peaceful natural scene of greenery and flowers in well-maintained gardens. We offer both premium and non-premium rooms.

Staffing qualifications and details Registered nurses are on site 24 hours a day. The clinical manager and clinical lead are registered nurses and work to cover the facility over 7 days. The clinical manager works Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 4.30 pm. The clinical lead works Sunday & Monday from 7.30 to 4.00 pm Tuesday & Wednesday from 10.30 am to 7.00 pm.
Details about meals Healthy nutritious home cooking. 4-week rotating menu. All meals are prepared on-site. Breakfast is served in your room or a buffet breakfast is available from 730 am to 9.00 am in the dining room. Morning Tea 10 am. Lunch 12 midday. Afternoon tea 2.30 pm. Tea 5 pm. Supper 7.15 pm - 7.30 pm either in your room, lounge or dining area. Tea and coffee-making facilities are available at all times in small lounges or dining rooms.
