Testimonials
"The warmth friendliness and care provided to Mum was amazing the room was bright with lovely outlook, the Management and staff communicated regularly and never hesitated to respond to our questions or requests" Green Family 2024 We recently took Dad on a trip to Palmerston North to see his family. It was three nights away, and the first time we had taken Dad out overnight since he began living at Ashlea Grove in January. The trip was a success, and an important reminder of just how much your care of Dad means to us. The wonderful work you all do with Dad means that we can continue to live our lives, take care of our son, go to our jobs. Things that would be impossible if Dad was in our full-time care. Ashlea Grove provides a safe space for Dad, unlike anything we could provide at home, with multiple unavoidable hazards meaning we need to watch him constantly. The peace of mind this gives us is invaluable. Your care of Dad also means we can continue to make lovely memories with Dad, without being overwhelmed by the constant physical cares he requires. I just wanted to write a brief letter to express how much the work you do means to us. I know so much of what you do goes unseen by residents' families, but we couldn't be more grateful to you all for everything you do. So thank you, to each of you for your part in caring for Dad and for caring by extension for his family, friends, and the community. V Duncan We didn't realise you guys had purchased Ashlea Grove, but we are so very happy to get this news. You all do such a great job of caring for the special people who reside there and they are so lucky to have you and your amazing staff. You have cared for our elderly aunt for many years and we are amazed at the wonderful care given to her and we thank you for that. We wish you all the best going forward. Regards Judy and Carl "I transferred my mother to Ashlea Grove a few months ago, im amazed how quick she has adapted to the change, the level of care is 2nd to none and the staff are so compassionate, the management make you feel like one of the family, I highly recommend Ashlea Grove if your looking for a place for your loved one's" J.Bos Thankyou for the care you have given Ngaire for the last 3.5 years. My testimonial for your enterprise, "If I ever have to go into care, Ashlea Grove is top of the list' My family and Solicitor have been told this. Stu Roxburgh. "In our Mum's words "Thanks to the Rest Home Management, Nurses and staff for all you’ve done for me over the years". It gave our family peace of mind to know that Mum was well looked after and cared for by the staff at Ashlea Grove Rest Home. Murry Family "When my wife was diagnosed with dementia and needing full time care, we checked out Ashlea Grove Rest Home in Milton. We immediately had a good feeling about the home, the staff, nurses and carers. The facilities were well maintained and clean, with plenty of room, and we were given three rooms to choose from at that time. When visiting from Alexandra, we were always greeted by first names and consulted about everything related to Joy's care. If I was visiting at meal times I was always included. The generous offer for the family to use two rooms, to be present with my wife in her final weeks was appreciated. Joy was a resident of Ashlea Grove for two and a half years, and she was always treated with respect, compassion and care. People often asked me if I would bring her to a closer rest home, when space came up, but we wanted to do what was best for her not me, and she was content and secure at Ashlea Grove. I observed a lot in the many trips down to visit Joy, and I was always relieved that she was receiving such great care." 30.06.2022 |
