Rhapsody rest home is set among picturesque grounds and park like gardens in Lower Vogeltown. Offering multiple levels of care from rest home, hospital level and respite allows the team to care for a wide range of members in the community.
Welcoming and spacious, residents enjoy large bedrooms with some rooms accommodating double occupancy. The facility has a large dining area and an abundance of lounges and communal areas where residents can mingle and feel at home. We know that it is the little things that matter to our residents, and we try our utmost to welcome them to their new home.
We are very proud of our long connection to our community and the caring role that we play in our resident’s lives. Our team is committed to providing the best possible healthcare services to residents and their families.

Interests & Activities
We have 2 dedicated activities co-ordinators who provides an interesting and varied programme of activities for our residents. Our programme includes: a variety of guest speakers and musical entertainers who perform on-site weekly, shopping trips, herb gardening, fish & chips on the beach, Melbourne Cup celebrations, Day out at the races, garden visits, scenic drives and an exercise programme. We also have a men's group that meets regularly. We host a number of events on site which have included regular BBQ's, Christmas celebrations, fortnightly Happy Hour and a loud shirt day. Last year Rhapsody started up its very own worm farm which residents have enjoyed looking after. As we have our own hangi pit on site. We regularly have hangi meals which everyone takes part in. If a resident would like to eat hangi at another meal there is always a meal reserved for this. |
