Regency Home and Hospital has long been established in Northcote and is positioned within easy access of the harbour bridge and surrounding North Shore areas.
Our focus is to provide a range of services that meet the varied and changing needs of people within our community and beyond and to achieve this in a caring, consistent manner that reflects high standards.
Our aim is to provide a homely comfortable environment for all those who live with us and a friendly welcome for all who visit.

Occupational Therapist Yes Occupational Therapist works Monday-Friday providing professional input into specifc resident needs identified at an initial assessment, liaising with Physio on resident mobility needs and providing oversight and input into the daily activities programme

May Bring Own Furniture Yes There is an appreciation that residents may like to have some personal furniture items in their room or placed in the lounge for their use. This needs discussion with the Manager so the furniture is appropriate to the available space.

Alcohol Permitted Yes Residents are able to have their own supply of alcohol or can participate in "Happy Hour" when a glass of alcohol is served

Activity programme in place managed by Activities Coordinator and Occupational Therapist. All residents invited and encouraged to participate in activities of interest to them.
Activities include: Big print books, Aromatherapy, Board games, Canine friends, Church service, Concerts, Cooking, Craft, regular Entertainers, Happy Hour, Housie, Music, Outings, Videos.
For the more frail resident one on one activity, such as being read to, may be more appropriate.

Resident/family assisted to access Advocacy service should the need arise. Information available in "Welcome to Regency" booklet given on admission.

Staffing qualifications and details Qualified staff 24hours/7 days providing care and oversight/direction of Caregiving staff. Active staff training to maintain highly skilled staff.
