Testimonials
Jenny: I have been in Parkstone Village now for three weeks. From my early dealings with the salesperson, Debbs, to the Village Manager, Kathy and her team of Sharee, Katie and Paul I have been met with kindness and patience. Other residents have been welcoming and friendly. I am loving that the worries about maintenance, rates and insurances from my previous property are now behind me. I feel so much more relaxed and reinvigorated. Friends and family have commented on this. The independent apartments are ideal. They allow me to continue to enjoy outside activities with friends as well as enjoy everything in the village. The cafe is a favourite spot for meeting friends and family . The library has interesting books and jigsaw puzzles. There are many activities and events for me to choose and participate in: including swimming, movies, Tai Chi, Indoor Bowls, The Choir and outings to the Great Hall if I wish. I am really happy here at Bupa Parkstone Retirement Village. So much so that my enthusiasm for living here has my cousin about to move in and I have a friend who has sent her family to check out an apartment for her. Jenny Fitzgerald Paul & May Just a few words to confirm to you and Bupa how pleased we are that we made the decision over 5 years ago to move into Bupa Parkstone Retirement Village. We had looked at several other villages before coming into to look at Parkstone but once we had looked - that was it - we made a deposit on our apartment that same afternoon. What sets this village apart from the rest is it's locality, the closeness of the Supermarket (right next door with our own gate through), the spacious grounds and community areas as well as the upmarket and spacious apartments. The friendliness of the staff also impressed on first look and that hasn't changed at all over the period we've been here. The same can be said for the residents - they are all a happy bunch - more like a big family to us. You can mix in with any of the many "social" activities available or just be as quiet as you like. All the apartments are very secure and safe, with a notable feature being the soundproofing. Garaging for our cars is exceptional too --very secure and undercover. We now have our own Café too - "Café Corfe" which has been an instant hit with the residents and visitors -- Top class food and a great variety. All in all coming here to live has been one of those "best decision we have made in our 64 years married". Thankyou Bupa Parkstone for helping make our home what it is --- nothing could be better. May and Paul Wheeler |

NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who ‘buy’ into a retirement village. If you intend to ‘purchase’ you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.
In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
