Other services
Situated in a quiet city street, the Leslie Groves Rest Home can accommodate up to 33 residents who have been assessed as requiring Rest Home level residential care. We encourage residents to personalise their room and many bring items when they move in that remind them of home. In a warm homely environment, both individual and group activities are provided daily and planned to meet the needs of all residents.
Our chaplain visits regularly and interdenominational services are held weekly.
"Home cooked" style meals and snacks are prepared at the Leslie Groves Hospital and laundry is undertaken by Leslie Groves staff.
Both individual and group activities are provided daily and planned to meet the needs of all residents.
New friendships are often built while it is not uncommon for residents to re-connect with old friends already living with us! Rest Home level residents can have a higher level of independence and we encourage you to remain as independent as possible and often like to actively engage in day to day 'household tasks'.
Respite can be available depending on the availability of beds.
