Eversley Rest home is the grand lady who overlooks Cornwall Park. She boasts a gracious, old-world charm. If you are looking for a smaller boutique, homely Care Centre, Eversley is the place to go.
With 50 rooms, in a mixture of Rest Home, Hospital level and a secure Stag 3 dementia wing our team go out of their way to create a welcoming atmosphere where both residents and their families feel right at home. Our Rest Home and Hospital level rooms are Dual purpose, meaning should there be a change in the level of care for our residents, we do not have to move rooms.
Eversley’s location is truly idyllic, surrounded by beautiful, mature trees, looking out over the stunning Cornwall Park stream. Our residents enjoy the advantages of strolls in the park, well established beautiful gardens, bird aviaries and a children’s play area right on our doorstep.
With our own small café, there is no need to go out on cold days, our Chef cooks amazing wholesome meals so all the nutritional needs of our residents are met.
Our residents’ rooms are full of family photos, love and care, at Eversley they can make their room their own. All rooms can accommodate TV's and phones if the resident wishes. The cost of a standard room is included in the Care Services Fee set by Te Whata Ora and premium rooms have additional features such as more space, and an ensuite bathroom, however you’ll need to pay an extra amount per day to cover the cost of these premium features.
Our award winning Activities team offer multiple outings in the van to cafes, parks, sightseeing, or to our other Oceania facility for quizzes or sharing in a morning tea. If it’s music you’re into, enjoy some me-time listening to your own personalised playlist with our award-winning I Love Music programme or escape in our audiobook programme. Whatever you need, we try to make it happen.
Oceania is a leading provider of premium healthcare services in New Zealand. With over 40 locations across the country, we’ve been part of local communities for over 50 years. We’re recognised as industry leaders in care, winning awards for innovation, food, staff training and community engagement.
When it comes to your care, you know what you do and don’t like – and we want to know your preferences too. Because everyone is different, all of our residents get a personalised care plan, so from meals to medications; everything that’s important to you is covered.

Testimonials
Jo and her team are absolutely the kindest caring humans that you will ever meet. We are so happy with the care that our family member receives on a daily basis. Everyone I have ever spoken to or seen are so happy doing their jobs it creates a very amazing warm feeling when you interact with them. Nothing is too much trouble and we feel very grateful that our family member is so cared for. So privileged we have the opportunity to have this facility available to our Aunt. Highly recommend Eversley Resthome. Lynda Millward |
