At Waiuku Hospital and Rest Home as part of our Activity programme residents enjoy the following: Art, Aromatherapy, Bingo, Board games, Bowls, Cards, Care and Craft, Church, Concerts, Craft, Dancing, Entertainers, Exercises, Flower arranging, Games, Gardening, Happy Hour, Housie, Jigsaws, Library visits and access to big print books, Massage, Movies, Music, Outings, Parties, Reading, Shopping, Sing-a-longs and Videos.

We also have close links in the community with Age Concern, the Arthritis society, the RSA and Senior Citizens.

On site we have Sky TV for the resident's entertainment and a Fax.

What's included in your fees and what's not Please contact management to get up to date details on what fees do and do not include. We do not have additional accommodation charges.
Staffing qualifications and details We have a Registered Nurse on duty 24 hours a day seven days a week. All of our staff undergo inservice training on a regular basis to ensure they are equipped to deliver the best of care to our residents.
Details about meals Our main meal of the day is served at midday and a lighter meal in the evening. All meals are cooked on the premises as we are able to cater for special needs and requests. Morning and afternoon tea and supper are all provided consisting of delicious home baking - scones and date loaf being regular favourites.
Associated Complexes We are a part of the CHT group of facilities. There are nine CHT facilities throughout the greater Auckland area.

Library The local public library is located in the Waiuku Estuary Village township just 10 minutes walk away.
