Welcome to St Allisa, an Arvida care and wellbeing community. We are a resident-led community, using the Attitude of Living Well to drive our engagement with our residents who are encouraged to get involved and make decisions about their day to day living.

St Allisa is nestled amongst beautiful tree-lined grounds and an 'Old English Garden', with gorgeous roses and hedging. We offer a warm, comfortable and homely environment and we respect each resident's individuality and privacy.

St Allisa features a strong New Zealand theme throughout, from our grounds, which are planted in native plants to our paintings and artwork of local New Zealand scenes. Our Rest Home and Hospital is tastefully designed and well positioned for the sun and views within this beautiful setting.

We offer a wide spectrum of care from Rest Home, Hospital, Respite and Dementia Care to Long Term Care for those with Chronic Health Conditions, Young People with Disabilities and ACC Recovery.

We have 109 rooms, in both single and double, and all have full ensuite bathrooms. The environment is homely and warm, and residents are encouraged to bring their own pictures, ornaments and other personal items to personalise their rooms if they wish.

A Registered Nurse is on duty at all times, and our team of friendly Wellness Partners look after our residents like they are family. All of our Wellness Partners have the Certificate in Health and Wellbeing - Advance Care and Support (Level 2, 3 or 4), or are studying for it. Education for all of our staff, including housekeepers and kitchen staff, is a priority for us here at St Allisa.

“To Jason and all the wonderful staff at St Allisa’s for your understanding and care of our Dad. We Appreciate your hardwork and dedication in helping make it Dad’s new home and I know he did too. Thank you."

" I have attended at St Allisa many times and also worked in the health industry for many years. I would like to take this opportunity to say that the staff are excellent from the front desk where Clare always has a smiling face to your activities coordinator, carers and dedicated nursing staff. As an entertainer we play at many rest homes. St Allisa would up with the top 10. Well done and we are proud to play at your rest home."
