Waihi Lifecare Hospital has been providing comprehensive care to the local community of Waihi since 1902. This privately owned facility is situated on beautifully landscaped grounds and enjoys close proximity to local bush walks, gardens, beaches, and cafes.

Our facility is proud to offer a newly refurbished room that provides residents with a comfortable and homely atmosphere. Our spacious bedrooms include an ensuite bathroom and are designed to provide a relaxing and stress-free environment.

Waihi Lifecare Hospital provides a wide range of care levels that include Palliative and Respite level care. Our primary objective is to promote and support the highest level of independence for each resident with dignity, privacy, and respect. We believe in providing holistic care in a homelike environment that ensures comfort, dignity, and freedom.

At our facility, residents can enjoy lush gardens and indoor activity rooms for intimate gatherings. We offer a lively activity programme that caters to all residents, and our passionate staff members ensure that our residents enjoy their favourite pastimes. We cook fresh meals on-site, and our menus are tailored to meet the dietary requirements of our residents. We encourage families to get involved in the activities, and we believe that eating is a wonderful social event that promotes good health.

Our team of dedicated aged care professionals is committed to enhancing the lifestyles and wellbeing of our residents. Our 56-bed facility offers single, double, and shared rooms that are furnished in a home style, providing residents with a comfortable and familiar environment.

We invite you to tour our facility and the new accommodation. For more information, please don't hesitate to contact us.
