Raglan Rest Home & Hospital features beautiful harbour views, gardens, and fruit trees. We accommodate 36 residents with a range of rooms from standard to premium with ensuite facilities.

Raglan boasts beaches, cafes, surfing, fishing, art trails, bush walks, and Bridal Veil Falls, just a 3-minute drive from the township. Residents enjoy this vibrant environment, and family and visitors can combine beach days with quality time together. The supportive Raglan community is integral to our home.

We have some magnificant views to the harbour and ocean, large decked areas that promote those views and a large internal decked courtyard for residents, staff and families to enjoy.

A number of our rooms have great views to the harbour as well.

Staffing qualifications and details TeRangimarie Gray-Carter an experienced Registered Nurse with twenty years nursing experience and practical management experience in the Aged Care sector and Hospitality industry. Healthcare She leads a team of qualified Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Health Care Assistants covering a 24hr service. Medical coverage for our facility is attended by Doctor’s from the West Coast Health Centre or other Medical Clinic’s here in Raglan. Our local pharmacist pre-packages all our medications for our residents.
Details about meals Many of the residents routinely come to the dining room for breakfast and others will take breakfast in their rooms. Food is prepared on site daily by our cooks, and there is always fresh baking with morning or afternoon tea. Diabetic and other special diets are catered for. Meals are served in the main dining room and on request in the Quiet Room. Tea and coffee making facilities are available for those who enjoy additional cuppas.
