|
Radius Care is a New Zealand owned and operated company that specialises in delivering the very best levels of Hospital, care for our elderly population and our young disabled who require special care.
Our vision for Radius is to deliver “good old fashioned Kiwi values and standards” back into the aged care sector and this is a commitment shared by our strong nationwide network of 22 facilities. Each of these facilities share a responsibility to provide the best levels of professional nursing care, which is delivered by our staff to over 1400 residents.
So when the time comes to choose a care facility for yourself or a loved one, call any one of our managers to talk about your circumstances or just drop in for a chat. They will be more than happy to answer any questions you have, and will show you around any one of our facilities.
Radius Hawthorne is a hospital situated in a quiet tree lined cul de sac bordering Fendalton and Ilam.
The hospital has two wings accommodating hospital level care residents. A number of the rooms are available with en suites and kitchenette. The majority of rooms in this area open out into beautifully landscaped gardens.
Hawthorne also has a secure dementia unit. This has its own secure garden area, with furniture and shades. For peace of mind CCTV has been installed in this area.

Testimonials
I would sincerely like to convey my appreciation to the staff at St Winifred's Hospital who looked after my mother Margaret Gudsell. She resided there for over 2 years and died there on the 22nd May. I would especially like to mention Jacqui Colville, Jan Bristowe, Kathy Toumazou & Linda Fourie, for their truly professional expertise, for always listening and taking such good care of my mother. I visited my mother nearly every day, and they always made me feel very welcome. They are a special team of people at St Winifred's I'll never forget how hard they worked after the February earthquake, especially Linda, making sure all the patients were safe and warm (when the hospital had no power). I think there is a quote somewhere - 'Patient's First', your staff do this consistantly. Your staff really are a tremendous asset to your organisation. |
