Located in a quiet cul-de-sac in the heart of Paeroa. Ohinemuri offers options for both retirement living and aged care, with one-bedroom independent living villas and a choice of standard and premium care rooms.
Ohinemuri is conveniently located close to State Highway 2, making it easy for friends and family to visit, or take you out and about. With the town centre just a short walk away, you can enjoy having everything you need at your doorstep, and as Paeroa is known for its antiques and collectables, a regular trip to the shops is a must!
Ohinemuri has a special connection to the local community and we’re proud to provide a friendly environment where residents feel at home. All levels of care are catered for, so if your needs increase, you can stay in familiar surroundings.
Your room is your own private space, so you can decorate it with your favourite pictures and ornaments. Standard rooms are large enough for a single bed, a chair and a wardrobe or chest of drawers. The cost of a standard room is included in the Care Services Fee set by the DHB. Premium rooms have additional features such as more space, an ensuite bathroom or outdoor access, but you’ll need to pay an extra amount per day to cover the cost of these premium features.
Hop in our van for a jaunt, you’ll never know where it will take you next. A scenic drive through the countryside, shopping trips or picnics in the park, there’s an exciting new destination each week. Or if it’s music you’re into, enjoy some me-time listening to your own personalised playlist with our award-winning I Love Music programme.
Tender Sunday roasts, hot fish and chips and scrummy homemade puddings…there’s a reason why the dining room is full before dinner! All of the above are regular features on our menu, which is packed with tasty family favourites you’d make at home. You’ll be sure to want second helpings!
Oceania is a leading provider of premium healthcare services in New Zealand. With over 40 locations across the country, we’ve been part of local communities for over 50 years. We’re recognised as industry leaders in care, winning awards for innovation, food, staff training and community engagement.
When it comes to your care, you know what you do and don’t like – and we want to know your preferences too. Because everyone is different, all of our residents get a personalised care plan, so from meals to medications; everything that’s important to you is covered.
