Testimonials
Mum has resided at Highview since January 2020. The level of compassion and care shown by the very professional and fun loving staff is very high. I visit mum most days, and always find her clean, tidy and comfortable. With mums appetite for music, the live entertainment by some very talented musicians is always uplifting for both residents and visitors. Other activities include art group and outings prove to be very popular with residents. I would highly recommend Highview to anybody contemplating a placement for their loved one. V McKenzie ‘Mum had to shift from a dedicated dementia facility to Highview, due to mobility issues & the staff to residents ratio. After coming to Highview, the staff encouraged her to get up & make an effort to walk using a walker & we were surprised to see the improvement. This went on for about 6 months & then gradually there was a decrease in her use of the walker & now for a long time, she is not able to get up on her own & as expected, the dementia has got more severe. Over the years even with staff changes, our experience is that the staff are very caring, understanding & respectful. They also work very well with the families of the residents & try & accommodate any requests as much as possible. If keeping stable health, the residents are encouraged to sit in the lounge, which also makes it practical for the staff to keep an eye & respond to any residents requests. Overall, Highview is a very homely place, with an atmosphere of love & laughter!!’ Shree Paranjpe |
