As we are a small home we get to know everyone well and this enables us to provide quality care within a family atmosphere. Special Features
Cardrona is a family run business with a loyal and caring team of staff. A positive and professional working environment is important to the overall running of Cardrona. We enjoy our work and a laugh with each other and the residents. The owners are part of this team and work together with staff on a daily basis. Our work place has a fun and supportive environment which is great for staff and residents alike. There are several lounges and sun rooms where residents can entertain family, participate in group activities or just head up for a quiet snooze in the big comfy chairs. We have added in six shared en-suites as an additional feature for our residents’ comfort. We are conveniently located a short distance from the centre of Putaruru, with the supermarket just across the road. Cardrona’s expansive gardens with lovely eye catching roses can be viewed from the all sun rooms or enjoyed by strolling through the grounds. We encourage visitors to come and spend time with their loved ones and to feel they are welcome at the home. |

Together they use their years of experience in nursing and business to support encourage and educate the team of Registered Nurses, Caregivers and domestic staff to care for the residents at Cardrona. Education is provided every month to all staff and we also manage the careerforce training modules for care in-house on an individual basis. | |
