Located on the North Shore, Beachhaven is just a fifteen minute drive from the Auckland CBD.

We’ve been part of the Beach Haven community for over 40 years and are well known for providing a homely and friendly environment.

Our large, sunny lounges offer places for our residents to sit and relax in warm and comfortable areas. We have outdoor decks, where on a nice day, our residents can sit amongst the plants and have a chat, sitting amongst the treetops with native birds chirping adds to the overall feeling of peace and tranquility.

At Beachhaven we believe pets positively contribute to the wellbeing of our residents. We have a lovely aquarium with various species of fish in our communal lounge and in our other lounge we have an aviary with Parakeets and Cockatiels. Our birds provide great entertainment with their funny antics and delightful chirping, while the fish create a calm, relaxing atmosphere for our residents. We also do doggy day care for a delightful little pooch called Lulu who just loves the attention she gets from all the residents

Shops are located nearby and the surrounding area offers cafes and small eateries that offer opportunities to dine out should our residents wish to go out for lunch with friends and family.

We’re a close-knit bunch, with many of our carer's having been with us for ten years or more. We love to get know you personally and your family are very welcome to visit anytime and join us for morning and afternoon teas. We make sure your family are included in your care decisions, so that everyone is kept informed and your wishes are acknowledged. We plan all sort of activities with a different theme each month, we have weekly entertainment and encourage families to be a part of this

You’re welcome to visit us at any time to look around. Feel free to contact our Care Home Manager on (09) 483 7019

Testimonials
"Thank you, to you all the dedicated angels in the front and behind the scenes. Thank you for all your devotion, your compassion and incredibly hard work you keep on giving."

"We would like to formally thank your Beachhaven team for the care Mum received while she was there. During our weekly visits we sat and witnessed the extreme patience and kindness of the nurses and caregivers towards the residents. We were always made to feel welcome and were well informed of Mums condition."

"To let you know that I am forever grateful for the wonderful care she receives. When I was last up there, she looked the happiest I have seen her in a very long time."

"Thanks again for the kindness and care that you showed to Dad and to our family. It's all the little things that make the difference. At every opportunity you were willing to make small changes or tweaks, to make sure Dad was as comfortable, happy and dignified as possible."

Special Features
Special Features
Our service provides care for those who require a high level of support.

The process whereby a resident comes into our care is very important so we have employed a Community Co-ordinator who is a Registered Nurse to manage this. She may be requested to visit a new resident prior to admission to conduct a thorough needs assessment, explain things to them and their family and to ensure that any important issues are addressed. This way the resident and their families are better prepared for the transfer to our care.
