Other services
Cedar Manor Care Home is well known in Tauranga – both for the wonderful care we give, and also for our imposing Tudor buildings.
Everything about Cedar Manor is homely, in a stately way. Our bedrooms are large enough to include a sofa and a coffee table, and our shared lounges are very comfortable. At Cedar Manor, we offer rest home, hospital and dementia care.
We often receive compliments from our residents and their families about the kindness of our staff, and the “little extras” that they so willingly do. One of our residents wanted to be able to make hot drinks in his room, so we have set this up so he can do just that.
We make sure we get to know each of our residents well, using what we call the Map of Life. This helps us understand what has been important in each person’s life. It also helps us understand particular likes and dislikes, and each person’s preferences, so that we can give care and attention the way they like it.
We know it is very important to offer choices and to really listen to what our residents and their families want. Making decisions together is a very important part of our philosophy. It helps us make each day the best it can be.
We would be delighted to have the opportunity to talk with you about our care. Please phone Jane Verry, our Care Home Manager, or feel free to drop in at any time.
