Nestled down a quiet street neighbouring the stunning Orakei Basin, Meadowbank offers a premium option for aged care and retirement living, with beautifully-finished independent living apartments and luxury Care Suites providing Rest Home and Hospital care.

Meadowbank is conveniently located off Remuera Road just minutes from the motorway, making it easy for friends and family to visit or take you out and about. Meadowbank Shopping Centre is just up the road, so you don’t need to go far for the essentials, and some of Auckland‘s best shops and cafes are close by. Public transport is at your doorstep, so it couldn’t be easier to head off to events in the city.

Featuring spacious and luxurious Care Suites, stunning living spaces and concierge services – this is care as you’ve never seen it before. You’ll get the very best personalised care, with the flexibility and control you’re used to, along with that little bit of luxury you deserve.

Care Suites provide both Rest Home and Hospital level care, which means you can relax knowing you won’t have the upheaval of moving again if your needs increase. Choose from either a studio Care Suite with an open-plan bedroom and lounge, or a one-bedroom Care Suite with a separate bedroom and living area. Some Care Suites are large enough to accommodate couples, so you can be together – even if one of you requires Hospital level care. All Care Suites have a heat pump and full ensuite bathroom, as well as a kitchenette with a fridge and a kettle – perfect for making a cuppa when friends and family come to visit. We also have options with private balconies and/or patios.

You own the right to occupy your Care Suite, so you can personalise it with your favourite furniture and treasured pieces. A DHB assessment is not required for care that is paid for privately.

Our Guest Services Manager will get to know you so that they can help fill your day with the things you love to do. Whether it’s as simple as video chatting with family overseas or something that requires a bit more organisation, like meeting friends at a show – either way, you can relax and let us take care of the logistics. Our activities calendar is packed with a variety of group and solo pursuits, so you can choose what you feel like doing. Hop in our van to explore an exciting new destination each week or enjoy some me-time listening to your own personalised playlist with our award-winning I Love Music programme.

Tender Sunday roasts, hot fish and chips and scrummy homemade puddings…all are regular features on our menu, which is packed with tasty classics you’d make at home. Don’t fancy what’s on offer? Have a chat to our friendly chef and kitchen team, so we can understand your needs. Good food is best shared, and family and friends are welcome to come dine with you. Enjoy a barista coffee and a bite to eat from the onsite café or book in for a meal in the main or private dining room.
