At Miranda Smith Homecare you will find an agency committed to your comfort, safety and happiness and wonderfully kind and experienced carers who are punctual, reliable and helpful.

The quality care we provide from carefully chosen and personally introduced carers allows our clients continued independence, autonomy and improved safety and comfort in their own home. We are able to establish packages of care tailored to the individual needs of each client and adapt this care, as required, to accommodate changing health needs.

Continuity of care from known and trusted carers is very important to our clients, as is punctuality, reliability and the ability to contact the agency easily and quickly. Miranda Smith Homecare offer a 24 hour phone service to clients registered with the service. If a you need help, support or advice at any time there is always someone to call. We can provide carers during the day or night, for either short or long-term placements, at times to suit individual needs and preferences.

We are able to provide all aspects of help within the home. Carers will assist with getting up and going to bed, washing, bathing, dressing and personal grooming. Help may also include light housekeeping, laundry and ironing. We are happy to cook, shop, take clients to appointments and accompany them on outings.

For clients requiring specialist care we have experienced Dementia, Parkinson's and Palliative carers. Medication support and RN oversight is also available.

We also provide a Hospital Discharge service providing safe, reliable, private transport home from hospital and 2 - 24 hour care and support at home following discharge. Our caregivers will provide assistance with packing & loading of belongings at the hospital, ensure collection of prescriptions, complete a light grocery shop, settle you at home with food and fluids, ensure your next of kin is advised you are home, safe and comfortable and informed of any post-discharge instructions and follow-up appointments. Provision of personal cares, exercise support and home help is available as required.

Our convalescence service is very popular for those recovering from scheduled surgeries and unexpected hospital admissions. With the aim being a return to full health our clients appreciate the flexibility of this service, reducing care and support as they return to full independence.
