| Set in 7 acres of grounds, this facility is a sheltered park-like safe environment. New rooms have been built to fit in with the rimu wood panelling of the traditional homestead providing a familiar comfortable feeling to our residents. |

Interests & Activities
|
Activity Programme for Day Clients Westella Homestead offers a holistic program for clients in the community in need of a therapeutic day program. The program has been designed to care for the whole person in a compassionate and supportive environment, and includes relaxation,meditation and creative therapies such as art and music therapy as well as physical and mental activities. We are also able to take advantage of Westella Homestead's unique environment and offer pet therapy and gardening activities. The programme is run by a qualified Diversional Therapist and supported by current research. The programme runs Monday to Friday between 9.30am and 3.30pm |
