Our manager has had over 20 years experience in the management of rest homes. Her assistant is a registered Assessor/Verifier for Careerforce as well as being a qualified nurse with many years experience, and trains all our staff in the qualifications necessary for dementia care.

Interests & Activities
Our Diversional Therapist, together with her assistant, cater for all the individual needs of our residents. There are many outside trips, games and quizzes, and outside entertainers visit the home regularly as do Alzheimers Society, Arthritis Society and Parkinson's Society. Age Concern will visit on request. We have frequent exercise classes, daily newspaper reading, indoor golf putting and weekly shopping trips. We have a lovely garden with outside security where residents spend time when weather permits. Television and DVD is available in both main lounges and TV may be installed in residents' rooms (at their cost) if requested. |

Our senior RN has worked for 6 years in dementia care and holds a post-graduate certificate in mental health. Our other nurses have been involved in elder care for a number of years. All our caregivers have experience in dementia care, and are always kind and considerate towards residents. | |
