Welcome to Elmswood, being part of a small, close-knit community with a warm and welcoming feel, we are dedicated to providing a supportive environment for residents and their families/whanau.

Nestled in the quiet, leafy suburb of Judea, close to the fantastic shops, cafes and restaurants of Tauranga, Elmswood really does boast the perfect location. And with State Highway 2 close by, and a bus stop right outside, it couldn’t be easier for friends and family to pop by or take you out and about.

Set in large park-like grounds with beautifully maintained gardens, Elmswood offers care in a family-oriented environment. The rooms are bright and airy, and there are a range of room sizes to suit individual needs. Residents have access to inviting common areas, and a large secure garden and courtyard where they can spend time with family and friends.

Your room is your own private space, so you can decorate it with your favourite pictures and ornaments. Standard rooms are large enough for a single bed, a chair and a wardrobe or chest of drawers. The cost of a standard room is included in the Care Services Fee set by the Health New Zealand. Premium rooms have additional features such as more space, an ensuite toilet or outdoor access, but you’ll need to pay an extra amount per day to cover the cost of these premium features. Elmswood also runs a day stay programme, for those looking for a little bit of extra help.
