Community House was purchased by the Rotorua District Council in 1993, with the purpose of housing local voluntary organisations providing welfare services to people of the Rotorua District. Community House is managed by the Rotorua District Council’ Community Policy & Resources Division, which is located in the Council Administration Building 1061 Haupapa Street, Rotorua.
