Other services
With options for both couples and singles, serviced apartments offer a generous double bedroom, spacious separate living area with kitchenette, and an ensuite with accessible shower, grab rails and slip resistant flooring.
Serviced apartments come with the confidence of extra care and support on hand. Our range of service packages cover help with housekeeping, meals and personal care. And, if you've been assessed as needing rest home level care, there's no need to move. This can be provided in your serviced apartment (subject to availability).
With easy access to our modern village facilities, you can meet friends and family for coffee at our Divine Cafe and enjoy the facilities including our communal lounge, library, computers, pool table, exercise room, and bowling green. And, if you're keen to get involved, there are regular activities and events to keep you busy.
To find out more about this village and the homes we currently have available, contact Kay Southon today on 04 527 2980 or request a free information pack by clicking on the button at the top of the page.
*All Summerset homes are sold under a licence to occupy and are subject to availability. Summerset does not offer rental accommodation.
Summerset has signed a lease agreement with Kelvin House a 31-bed facility in Manor Park while it remodels its own care centre at Summerset at the Course – Trentham.
Summerset expects the project to be completed during 2025 with information about transfer options back to Trentham prior to completion.
Families need to factor this in their decision-making process at this time.

The Ministry of Health conducts regular audits of Residential Care Facilities. They can be found HERE.
NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who ‘buy’ into a retirement village. If you intend to ‘purchase’ you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.
In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
