With just nine bedrooms, the care home is small and intimate offering additional comforts such as more space or better views. It’s designed to feel just like home. All rooms have full bathrooms, heat pumps, armchairs, and fully adjustable hospital beds. Pinesong Retirement Village also offers Serviced Apartments for those who value independence but also need some extra support. Serviced apartments include one bedroom, a kitchenette, and a bathroom.
Life at Pinesong Care Home is welcoming, respectful, and engaging. The activities programme is run in partnership with the retirement village, offering residents plenty of opportunities to socialise. Entertainment highlights include visits and performances from local school children, arts and crafts, games, and visits from pets. Staff also organise 1:1 activities for residents who would prefer not to socialise within a group. All staff are committed to providing resident-centred care, taking the time to get to know each individual and their families.
