You can receive 24 hour Rest Home or Hospital level care all in the comfort of your own spacious suite, complete with full ensuite bathroom. A lounge area with kitchenette means it’s easy to make a cuppa and entertain visitors. The best part of owning a right-to-occupy Care Suite is that more support can be added at any time, so there’s no need to move if your needs change.

| Zeta Estcourt Resident in Care Suite I've recently purchased a Care Suite at Gracelands and I love it - it really feels like my home with my belongings and pieces of my furniture. Being in a Care Suite means I can remain independent with the knowledge that I can have care on hand when I need it. Many residents are very envious of my Care Suite which includes a kitchenette, small lounge and large bedroom with its own bathroom. My family visit me regularly and take me shopping and out to cafes - all the staff make them feel very welcome and they are always offered a cuppa. They are able to purchase a meal at a reasonable cost and enjoy it with me in my Care Suite. I love being able to attend the fun and stimulating activities within the home that Viv & Jules (Activities Team) provide. My room has a lovely outlook over the courtyard garden and the highlight is the resident cat called Gracie that visits. NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who ‘buy’ into a retirement village. If you intend to ‘purchase’ you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.
In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
