Winner of the 2018 Excellence in Care Invacare Small Operator Award and the overall Supreme Award at the 2018 NZ Aged Care Association National Conference, the Wyndham & Districts Community Rest Home is 23 bed residential care home located in rural southland. We are an incorporated Society and a registered charity which is overseen by a volunteer board of local business people. Our philosophy is to provide our residents with the highest standard of care in a warm, friendly environment and to provide privacy, comfort and dignity.

What's New
Come to Day Stay
If you or a loved one would like some company and activities on occasion, we invite locals who may be considering a rest home to come and enjoy our Day Stay. We will take care of you and provide a wonderful day away from your usual surroundings, including administering medication if necessary. Our Day Stay is also intended to give family members and at-home caregivers an opportunity to recharge their batteries. Additionally, it is an excellent opportunity for you to meet the individuals at our Rest Home and gain a genuine understanding of what it would be like to reside with us. |
