At Mary Shapley we will do our very best to make you feel at home. Our wonderful, kind staff focuses on what makes your day the best it can be. That’s why we say, ”there’s only one way to care – your way.”

We bring together high quality nursing and genuine care, making sure you choose how you want to fill your days, and we’ll always make your visitors feel welcome, any time. Making decisions together is a very important part of our philosophy. It helps us make each day the best it can be.

We are located in central Whakatane across the road from the public hospital. Our residents can enjoy being outdoors, enjoying the sun and friendship of other residents, in several garden areas around our home.

We can also guide and support you through the process of coming to live at Mary Shapley, if you wish.

We would be delighted to have the opportunity to talk with you about our care. Please phone Louise Whiting, our Care Home Manager on (07) 303 8980.
