Jamie Connell Glenn is a very reliant and patient person who I think is a best fit for the job .I believe that we've established the connection at the time he allowed us to visit and stay with mum for a couple of hours even it is public holiday. This is at the stage when we haven't engaged his services to handle my mum's funeral. He is very flexible and understanding to adopt to our religious customs and practices considering that we came from different nationality. He took time to listen and understand on what we want and need. This is one of our family's major trauma and Glenn gone extra mile by showing his utmost caring attitude to us- by spending some time talking to us /checking on how are we feeling etc. Although, this event is quite distressful to our family, it is important to make this event memorable as well. he reminded us that this is a celebration of life and come up with suggestions on how we can memorialized our dear mum in the most appropriate way. | Glenn Rogers - Funeral Director Part of the Hawera community since 1926, South Taranaki Funeral Services started out as McCormick’s Funeral Services and was operated by Davy McCormick until his death. Michael Clegg purchased the funeral home in 1978 and in 1980 McCormick’s became the well-known Clegg Funerals & Monuments. Michael Clegg operated Cleggs until his retirement in 2013. Located in central Hawera on High Street, South Taranaki Funeral Services (STFS) are able to offer a range of funeral services for our families. We have a large, modern chapel and a very comfortable reception lounge which can provide full catering services. Our reputation for professional and caring service comes from our experienced funeral directors and support staff who are passionate and dedicated to ensure families can have peace of mind at a very difficult time. It is important to know that you can depend on STFS professionalism to help you with all of the arrangements to ensure a funeral service flows smoothly. We offer a full range of in house chapel services with the availability of both a large and small chapel options. if your wish to to have your life celebrated in a place that is special to you South Taranaki Funeral Services will accommodate your wishes, to have your service at your church, club, RSA, garden or even in your own home. We offer a full range of sound equipment and visual equipment allowing for a professional service wherever you choose.
