Service Description
| Our cottage is set on beautiful grounds and is a homely welcoming place to be able to say goodbye to your loved one. We try to accommodate different cultural traditions to give families the best opportunity to grieve their loss as best as they can under the circumstances. We provide off street parking, family and guest bathroom facilities and complete wheelchair access. Our peaceful and serene viewing and arrangement rooms are available any time by booking including overnight if needed. We have an on-site, non-denominational chapel and can perform your service at the Cottage if you wish to have the funeral here. If your loved one has passed away overseas, we are experienced in the repatriation service and work closely with many funeral homes to ensure the safe and stress-free return of your loved one to Aotearoa. There is a loan hearse available which the family can use themselves to drive their loved one to the place of rest (subject to conditions). |
